Line-interactive design delivers unmatched performance and reliability
Innovative line-interactive design uses the DC to AC power inverter "in reverse" as a battery charger during normal operation providing greater performance, filtering inefficiency. F-ewer components under stress results in greater reliability than inefficient double conversion, on-line UPS units. Line-interactive topology is approximately. 98% efficient, which leads to extremely high reliability. In contrast most online operate at approximately 70% efficiency, which produces life-cycle costs 30% higher. Worse, the excess energy from an on-line UPS becomes heat which damages batteries and decreases reliability.
Line-interactive design delivers Network Interface Port adds automatic safe system shutdown
Once installed, an A-Smart UPS will interface with your network via serial port to perform automated safe shutdown. Power failures can occur at night, on weekends, or while the system administrator is out of the building, which makes automated safe shut-down critical. A-Smart UPS communications port means the ability to coordinate a safe shutdown with most popular operating systems by Novell, IBM, Microsoft, Banyan, UNIX, and others. You can also manage UPS power and diagnose power problems using Upsilon2000 UPS monitor software.

A-Smart UPS includes SNMP Slot that you can Install internal SNMP Card(Optional) for up-rade A-Smart UPS Management of networks.(also can install external SNMP Box via UPS communication port)

Load and Battery Meters keep you in control
The Load Meter prevents you from exceeding UPS capacity. The battery Meter reports battery capacity, allowing you to gauge how much time you have before batteries are depleted. An alarm sounds when batteries are low, allowing you time to save data and shutdown the system.
