Introduction: |
In today's commercial environment, safe, prompt
and remote network management is very necessary. With
the requirement for more intelligent network devices,
the connection between power usability and network usability
become much closer. The network administrator must control
and manage the whole basic network with confidence.
Using th extensible module to enlarge the functions
of the network management card, the administrators can
achieve this aim now. The network management card offers
the system by UPS monitoring, configuration, controling
and event handling functions based on the industry standard,
and can safely shut down the server protected by UPS
with the help of Safemate network shutdown software
through standard 10/100M network connection. The new
modules can be intergrated into a UPS smart card and
afford UPS line remote management and environment detecting
